LifeJazz - music story and inspiration What is LifeJazz

LifeJazz is a narrated concert that presents original music with story-telling. Each composition has its  own story and  invites you into an inspiring experience.  The music is inspired by nature, art and life and as the experience unfolds you discover a story of your own. 

The Music

The contemporary original music embraces various genres including: Swing, latin, rock, blues and classical and features lyrical melodies, jazz harmony and improvised solos. Participants describe the music as sometimes cinematic  and sometimes swingin’. A frequent comment is that the music is “beautiful,  very hip and inspiring.” 

A Sample Of Our Music

This demo track is a fun new piece, in a swing/hop jazz style, composed by and featuring Joseph Liberti on flute with digital instruments. This will premiere at our next concert May 6.

The Performers

The concert is performed by FluteDaddy , a jazz ensemble led by flutist/composer Joseph Liberti and features a rhythm section of some of the finest jazz and classical musicians in Colorado. For the May 6 2018 event the ensemble includes: brilliant jazz and classical pianist Reggie Berg, first call bassist Jason Crowe and USAF band drummer Tyler Kennamer. (see video below)

Another Sample Of Our Music

This demo track is a lovely new piece, in a mellow bossa nova jazz style, composed by and featuring Joseph Liberti on flute with digital instruments. This will premiere at our next concert May 6.

The Story-Teller

In his first career,  Joseph Liberti, homed his speaking skills in twenty years of providing  training and development facilitation for business in the U.S. Canada and Mexico. You will enjoy his authenticity, caring and easy conversational style.   Joseph, has been developing new ability as a music composer and performer in Colorado since 2009. In 2015  Joseph  created and presented Ladder To The Moon, a program of original music and story-telling inspired by the art and life of Georgia O’keeffe, for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. You will enjoy his flute playing, his original music and his passion.
